- Rosemead Library, Rosemead, CA 91770
- Baldwin Park Library, Baldwin Park, CA 91706
Hours:
- Tues-Thurs 2:30-7:30 PM or Tues/Wed 2:30-7:30, Thurs 2:00-5:30 (hours vary by site)
- In-person, substitute tutor
Pay:
- $22.00-$24.00, dependent on experience, department worked and other factors
In this role, you will:
- Deliver targeted instruction in math to support middle school aged students.
- Provide small-group tutoring using provided curriculum, evidence-based strategies, and educational technology.
- Differentiate teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles, academic needs, and developmental levels.Prepare lesson plans for sessions during designated preparation time.
- Can complete the fingerprinting process within forty eight hours of an offer
- In this role you will need to be able to meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position
- You can provide three professional references
- You have a minimum of sixty units of college credits
- You have at least one year of student-related experience
- You are detail-oriented and highly dependable
- You are an effective communicator
- You have reliable transportation
- You can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
- You love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar
