Flexographic Printing Press Operator

We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled individual to manage the operation of a flexographic printing press. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail to ensure the press runs smoothly and efficiently.

Core Duties

• Set up, maintain, and operate a 16" - 20" flexographic printing press (Mark Andy models).
• Install and adjust components such as rollers, plates, inks, and dies to ensure optimal production quality.
• Report equipment issues or the need for parts replacements to management.
• Keep equipment in top working condition, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Review and follow printing documentation and instructions to meet quality and process requirements.

Required Experience & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent and basic computer proficiency.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in flexographic printing or a related field.
• Ability to understand and follow written instructions, safety procedures, and maintenance protocols.
• Mechanical skills and the ability to pass a mechanical aptitude test or demonstrate prior experience.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Consistent attendance and the flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
• Willingness to work various shifts as required.
