Licensed Optician

LensCrafters is seeking a Licensed Optician to provide exceptional customer service, ensure precise eyewear fitting, and maintain the highest standards of optical care. Major Duties & Responsibilities Welcome all customers and set expectations. Custom fit glasses and accurately place prescriptions in lenses. Act as a leader in optical acumen. Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail to meet customer needs. Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions. Use technology accurately under time pressure, demonstrating strong product knowledge and tool proficiency. Proactively explore root causes of issues, provide solutions, and exceed customer expectations. Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities. Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies. Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and organization. Identify safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices. Show resourcefulness, self‑motivation, and a desire for continual learning and improvement. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management. Basic Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. State licensure. Optical dispensing experience. Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder. Knowledge of current store merchandise. Strong basic math skills. Awareness of current fashion trends. Sales skills and ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet. Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators. Embrace new technology and change. Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service and retail experience.
