Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a qualified Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in a Level III Trauma Center setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, utilizing their skills and expertise in emergency medicine.Location: Roseburg, OR21 Emergency Department (ED) Beds1 Trauma Bay4 Fast Track Beds2 Triage RoomsIntermixed ER Holds management4 Dedicated Psych/Seclusion RoomsSchedule and Shifts12-hour shiftsEvery other weekend requirementHolidays scheduled as per contractKey ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of medical conditionsConduct triage assessments and manage patient prioritizationCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, PAs, and paramedicsManage ER holds and provide ongoing patient assessmentsUtilize telemedicine and monitoring technology effectivelyPerform blood draws and other laboratory procedures as neededEnsure documentation is up-to-date using the Meditech EMR systemQualificationsCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications requiredTNCC certification requiredPALS or ENPC certification recommended but not requiredExperience working in an Emergency Department setting preferredSupport Staff24/7 ED Charge RN and House SupervisorED Techs available around the clockIn-house security personnelCommon Patient DiagnosesPatient population primarily encompasses general emergency department cases, with a focus on high-acuity situations.Additional InformationA comprehensive orientation will be provided prior to the first shift.
