Maintains confidentiality of all subjects read, heard, or typed and continually looks for opportunities to expand services provided.# **Additional Job Description:*** Updates and maintains systems to identify medical staff members and their clinical privileges.* Ensures that initial applications and reappointment applications to the medical staff and allied health professional staff are processed and completed in a timely way to facilitate decision making by service chiefs, the Credentials Committee, the Medical Executive Committee, and the Board of Directors.* Ensures that all DEAs, malpractice insurance, and Kentucky licenses are current for all medical staff and allied health professionals as required by the hospital bylaws and Joint Commission standards.* Provides temporary medical staff privileges as requested, adhering to hospital bylaws.* Establishes application, data bank, and profile files and other files and records as necessary and ensures that they are kept current.Education:* High school diploma or GED (required)* Associate degree in business or a related field (preferred)Experience:* 2 years’ experience in a medical staff office setting (required)CertificationCPMSN and CPCS credential is required or must be eligible to sit for exam within (3) years from date of hire. #J-18808-Ljbffr
