Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse, located in the ICU specialty, is responsible for delivering high-quality care to adult cardiac, telemetry, stroke, vascular intervention, and hemodynamic monitoring patients. This role involves self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance, passing a basic dysrhythmia test, and providing assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in coordination with the healthcare team. Job Details Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; license/certificate verification; no minimum years of experience required. Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, estimated 36 hours per week, with potential overtime. Responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care, interacting effectively with patients and team members, and maintaining professional nursing standards. Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance, with a dysrhythmia test out in the first week of assignment, which must be passed to work in ICU-CCU units. Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience within the last 12 months in a similar unit required. Schedule includes every other weekend rotation and every other holiday. While not part of a regular call rotation, the traveler may be placed on call during periods of low census and should be able to respond and arrive within one hour if called.
