Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (FSED)

Location

San Juan, TX | Free Standing Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Weekends Rotate

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Free Standing Emergency Department setting with a patient ratio of 1:4
• Perform and support procedures including stroke center protocols and moderate sedation
• Collaborate as part of a small, close-knit nursing team across day and night shifts
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Float within the FSED as needed
• Maintain compliance with all unit guidelines, dress code (royal blue scrubs), and facility policies

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification (listed as preferred in addition to required — candidates holding this certification will be considered first)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Prior experience in a stroke center or with moderate sedation procedures
