Field Service Engineer – Advanced Medical Device Systems

We're seeking a customer-focused Field Service Engineer to lead installations, MRI lab build-outs, system upgrades, and technical support for advanced medical device systems. In this highly visible role, you'll serve as the technical expert and project lead, ensuring successful deployments, exceptional system performance, and outstanding customer experiences.

What You'll Do

• Lead MRI lab build-outs, system installations, upgrades, and modifications from planning through go-live.
• Manage project timelines, technical requirements, and site readiness to ensure successful implementations.
• Install, configure, test, and document medical device systems and associated third-party equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to maximize system uptime and customer satisfaction.
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and ongoing service support for installed systems.
• Coordinate product delivery, installation, customer training, and clinical launch activities.
• Maintain service records, quality documentation, and regulatory compliance documentation.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Clinical, Operations, and Sales teams to support customer needs and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical support during clinical cases and system utilization as needed.

What We're Looking For

• 5–7 years of Field Service Engineering, Technical Support, or Project Management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
• Experience supporting complex medical device or healthcare technology systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause investigation skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and customer sites simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer relationship skills.
• Valid driver's license and passport with the ability to travel extensively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in MRI environments or supporting MRI-related technologies.
• Medical device industry experience.
• Knowledge of quality systems, regulatory documentation, and FDA-regulated environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional installation or technical implementation projects.
• Comfortable supporting clinicians and healthcare professionals in clinical settings.

Pay and Benefits
