AVIR at Eagle Pass is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Per Diem Physical Therapist (PT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapist who enjoys providing patient-centered care, working with residents, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to help residents improve mobility, function, and independence. Position Responsibilities Evaluate residents and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans. Provide skilled physical therapy services based on residents' needs, goals, and plan of care. Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, mobility training, and functional activities. Monitor residents' progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate. Educate residents and caregivers regarding mobility, safety, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities. Collaborate with PTAs, OTs, COTAs, SLPs, nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Participate in care planning and communicate residents' progress and needs. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation. Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations. Qualifications Current Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, or a similar setting is preferred. Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
