About the Role:

As an RN Shift Supervisor , you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our healthcare facility, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring that patient care is delivered with compassion, empathy, and excellence. Your expertise in nursing practice and leadership will enable you to effectively coordinate patient care, manage workflow, and prioritize tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care
• Coordinate patient care activities, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
• Develop and implement effective care plans, tailored to individual patient needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and monitor staff development
• Identify and address potential issues, implementing corrective measures to maintain a safe and positive work environment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and external partners

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of New York
• Experience in nursing as an RN, with a strong foundation in leadership and patient care management
• Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and nights
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
