Polsinelli is seeking a Paralegal to support the Real Estate department in one of the following cities: Kansas City, Chicago, New York, St. Louis, Atlanta, Dallas, or Denver.Core responsibilities include:Perform and coordinate due diligence, including review of title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and underlying documentsPrepare title and survey objection lettersCoordinate with title company and surveyor to reconcile title and survey issues and finalize title pro forma and surveyAnalyze and resolve open issues in zoning reportsAssist in preparation and review of real estate conveyance and closing documentsCoordinate closing of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions and financings, debt and equity transactions including signature page packages, document delivery, monitor closing checklists, handle recording requirements at closingPrepare closing booksDraft and file UCC financing statementsOrder and evaluate UCC, lien, litigation and similar searchesPrepare and file formation documentsDraft leases, purchase contracts, easements, deeds, and other real property related documentsWork on special assignments that may require conducting routine factual research, preparing reports and handling associated filingsInterface with firm clients and other outside entities regarding assigned mattersExecute on the minute details of a project or task, in addition to providing alternative options/solutions to best serve internal and external clientsResearch and execute on necessary procedures to meet client requestsRetrieve, organize, review, analyze and summarize documentsEffectively set priorities, provide timely updates, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projectsRemain proficient in Microsoft Suite/Outlook, InTapp, iManage, and other programs used in practice areaMeticulous time recording skills to accurately bill clientsEmployees approved for flexible work arrangements are expected to be available and maintain a practice of reliable, consistent attendance during the employees scheduled work shift including, but not limited to Zoom chat, email, voicemail, and phoneComputer applications used include Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Kofax iManage OrbitalRequirements include:Paralegal Certificate or related degree preferred5 Years' ExperienceBillable requirement: 1600 hours per year5 days in-officeThe budgeted salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000.As part of full-time employment associated with this position, Polsinelli PC offers the following benefits: Paid time off, sick time off, a referral program, medical insurance and benefits, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, AD&D insurance, ID Theft insurance, long-term disability benefits, short-term disability benefits, Parking/Transit reimbursement (varies depending on location), 401(k) benefits, and employee assistance benefits.Polsinelli PC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
