Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, and financings.
- Conduct thorough title and survey reviews, identifying and resolving any issues that may impact closings.
- Draft and manage critical legal documents, including contracts, lease agreements, closing statements, and amendments.
- Collaborate with lenders, developers, and clients to facilitate seamless transaction closings.
- Prepare detailed closing checklists and ensure all transactional deadlines are met.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date real estate files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm and industry standards.
- Research and stay current on real estate laws and regulations, providing timely updates to the legal team.
- Participate in negotiations and due diligence reviews, playing a key role in supporting strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal in commercial real estate law at a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build professional relationships with clients, attorneys, and industry professionals.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, title, and survey analysis.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency.
