Credit and Collections Specialist

Credit And Collections SpecialistASC Engineered Solutions is seeking a highly accountable, detail-oriented professional to serve as our Credit And Collections Specialist. This person will be responsible for business to business collections calls, collecting payments and settling invoice disputes. Additionally, the Credit And Collections Specialist will help with credit processing and cash payments.How You Will HelpInitiate B2B Collection calls to reduce DSO and ensure prompt payments.Prepare weekly ageing reports.Monitor customer accounts for non-payment or late pay.Send Statements, Invoice copies, packing slips, Bol & proof of deliveries if needed.Pull credit reports.Process 10-day demand lettersEstablish strong relationships with customers.Good Analytics to resolve disputed invoices & resolve customer inquiries.Navigate through the sales system to research disputes and resolve promptly.Ability to manage a high-volume environment.Responsibility of processing customer payments through various sources, ACH, Wires & lock box.Ability to reconcile cash applications to general ledgers. Process Excel spreadsheets for balancing and uploading to the system.Experience with working through customer portals to pull payment details or dispute details.Responsibility of processing RMAs or credits.Collaborating closely with customer service, warehouses & sales management to resolve disputes.Mail invoicesScan checksWhat You Will BringAssociates's Degree or Equivalent years of related work experience required.2+ years Accounts Receivable experience required.Experience with Excel (pivot tables, V-Lookup).Experience using D365 and Power BI.Fundamental understanding of accounting and payment applications.Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective Written and verbal communicationBilingual English/ Spanish a plusCompensationThe base salary range for this position is $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 USD annually. The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this role.
