Financial Management Analyst
US Department of War
Duties
Provides oversight of the Army Service Component Command and Component Subordinate Commands/Units.
Issues strategic planning evaluation/assessments for on-going process improvements aligned with organizations strategic direction.
Analyzes and researches existing accounting requirements and procedures/reports to ensure financial/man-hour data integrity.
Provides financial analytical abilities in the areas of budgeting and resource management practices to facilitate the conduct of financial management operations and support programs.
Reviews and interprets command guidance and policy statements, directives, and pertinent financial regulations.
Uses automated financial management systems and computer-generated products in accomplishing financial management assignments.
Serves as the division's approving official for the Defense Travel System.
