Overview
Ultrasound Technologist (Travel) – Ultrasound Tech, Elizabethtown, NY, United States. Start date: September 28, 2026. Duration: 26 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,793–$3,016 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 10-hour days, four days per week. Setting: hospital imaging department.

Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations for abdomen, OB/GYN, and vascular studies in accordance with ARDMS credentials and facility protocol
- Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort; maintain sterile technique
- Operate and optimize images on ultrasound equipment (Canon Aplio 1800 and GE LOGIQ E10 R4); select probes and adjust settings for diagnostic quality
- Document findings in the Epic EMR system, label studies accurately, and communicate results to radiologists or ordering physicians
- Maintain equipment, perform routine quality checks, and report malfunctions; adhere to infection control and safety standards
- Participate in rotating assignments between campus sites as needed to meet patient volumes and workflow

Requirements
- Active NYS Radiologic Technology Licensure; CT Certification; NYS injection Certification
- ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular (active)
- Minimum 5 years of ultrasound clinical experience; prior travel experience preferred
- Epic experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- BLS certification; Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency)
- Ability to work on-site in a hospital setting and float between campus locations as needed
- Evidence of reliable transportation; willingness to work 10-hour days and participate in floating assignments
