TV Recycling Warehouse Worker

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our TV Recycling Warehouse team. This role involves handling, sorting, and dismantling televisions and related electronic equipment for recycling purposes. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of performing physical tasks in a warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Handling:

• Unload, sort, and organize incoming televisions and electronic equipment.
• Safely transport items within the warehouse using appropriate tools (e.g., dollies, pallet jacks).
• Prepare recycled materials for shipment or further processing.

Dismantling and Sorting:

• Disassemble televisions to separate recyclable materials (e.g., glass, plastic, metals, and circuit boards).
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous components, such as cathode ray tubes (CRTs) and other electronic waste.
• Sort materials by type and prepare them for recycling or disposal according to company procedures.

Quality Control:

• Inspect materials to identify reusable or recyclable parts.
• Ensure compliance with recycling standards and environmental regulations.

Safety and Maintenance:

• Follow all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Keep the work area clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment used in the dismantling process.

Inventory and Documentation:

• Track and record materials processed, including weights and quantities.
• Maintain accurate records of hazardous materials for compliance purposes.

Team Collaboration:

• Work with other team members to meet recycling quotas and deadlines.
• Assist in training new employees or temporary staff when needed.
