CNC Machine Operator (Mill)

Job Duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC milling machines to produce parts according to specifications

• Make tool offsets and basic program edits as needed

• Perform machine setups and change out tooling

• Monitor machine performance and adjust as required

• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools

• Read and follow blueprints and work instructions

• Maintain accurate production and inspection records

• Keep the work area clean and follow all safety procedures

• Communicate with supervisors regarding quality or production issues

Minimum Education Required

No Education Requirement

Minimum Experience Required

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior CNC milling machining experience required

• Ability to perform setups, tool changes, and offsets

• Capable of making minor program edits when needed

• Experience using inspection equipment to verify part quality

• More advanced than a basic operator; no programming required

• CNC milling machining experience needed

• Ability to read measuring tools and blueprints

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
