• Weekly Hours: 40.00
• Salary Range: $40.00 - $57.00
• Pay Info: Sign-on Bonus of $20,000 with a commitment

This role involves caring for patients in both the outpatient setting at the Woodruff Center and the inpatient environment at the Marshfield Medical Center - Minocqua. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a weekend rotation of one every 6-8 weeks.

We are looking for a strategic, communicative, and empathetic physical therapist who will assess and treat individuals with conditions that hinder their mobility. Your goal will be to enhance their quality of life by alleviating pain and improving physical function. Our treatment plans require adaptability, teamwork, innovative thinking, and problem-solving skills to ensure our patients achieve optimal physical function. This role may involve lifting and transferring patients, as well as being on your feet throughout the day.

• Design, organize, and implement physical therapy programs aimed at helping patients recover, enhance mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.
• Document patient information for evaluation purposes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, schedules, and home exercises.
• Ensure documentation aligns with departmental guidelines and meets all regulatory standards.
• Monitor and record the therapeutic progress of patients, recommending necessary adjustments.
• Adhere to guidelines, regulations, standards, and safety protocols throughout the therapy process.

• Must possess the appropriate educational background as required by state licensure.
• Must hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the relevant state(s).
• A valid driver's license may be required, if applicable.
• Must obtain and maintain department-specific competencies and certifications. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers is required or must be completed within the first 60 days of employment.
