ICU Registered Nurse – Marrero, LA | Day 4x12-Hour Shift

Hours/Week: 36-48 hours

Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Licensure: Valid RN License in Louisiana required

Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience, Epic EMR experience required

Hourly Pay Rate: $56.95

What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care to neuro/stroke, vascular, and post-op general ICU patients
• Manage ventilators, EVDs, ICP monitoring, lumbar drains, and other neuro-specific equipment
• Administer medications and treatments including Vents, A-lines, central lines, and CRRT
• Monitor patient vitals and respond swiftly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a float capacity across SCU, NCU, and CCU as needed
• Assist with post-op craniotomies and other complex neurological procedures
• Ensure compliance with all safety and care standards

What You Need

• Active RN license in Louisiana
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, including neuro care
• Epic electronic medical records experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH (can be obtained on-site for $100)
• Proficiency with vents, ICP management, EVD, lumbar drains, and CRRT

• Experience with neuro, stroke, and vascular surgery patient populations
• Willingness to float between units and to ED for CC admissions
