Manufacturing Operations Leader (Lean, Safety, Growth)

Operations Manager FLSA: Exempt About the Role The Operations Manager leads the manufacturing and warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and cost control. The role requires strategic planning and execution to meet production targets, foster continuous improvement, and engage employees. Working cross‑functionally, the manager aligns operational activities with business goals and customer requirements, driving operational excellence and sustainable growth. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience in managing teams and improving employee performance. Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations and best practices. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control operational costs effectively. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Business Administration or Operations Management. Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies. Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies and warehouse management systems. Familiarity with ERP software and data analytics tools. Previous experience managing large‑scale manufacturing operations or multiple facilities. Responsibilities Manage daily manufacturing and warehouse operations to ensure timely and efficient production output. Lead, mentor, and evaluate employee performance to build a high‑performing and motivated workforce. Implement and monitor workplace safety protocols to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and promote a safe working environment. Develop and control operational budgets, identifying cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety. Coordinate with supply chain, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to streamline processes and resolve operational issues promptly. Skills & Competencies Operations management, team leadership, employee performance management, workplace safety, warehouse and manufacturing operations expertise, cost control, budgeting, and data‑driven decision making. Work Environment This position operates in both office and manufacturing floor environments. Exposure to noise, machinery, temperature variation, and industrial conditions may occur when accessing plant areas. Physical Demands Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to access production areas when necessary.
