Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and team-oriented Registered Nurse to join our new Medical Surgical Unit. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a unit that has 12 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5-6:1. You will work alongside a dedicated team and utilize a variety of medical equipment while documenting patient care effectively in the Meditech system. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellent patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Assist with activities of daily living and vital sign monitoring.
• Document all patient interactions and care in the Meditech system.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and families regarding patient care.
• Participate in team meetings and educational opportunities to enhance professional development.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in Tennessee.
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred.
• Must be team-oriented and compassionate.
