Will be traveling between Florham Park and Union locations 83 Hanover Road, Suite 210 Florham Park, NJ 07932 1308 Morris Avenue – Suite 202 Union, NJ 07083
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Environment: Outpatient/Ambulatory Infectious Disease Clinic
- Must have reliable transportation to cover multiple locations
Must Haves
- Certified Medical Assistant certification (AAMA, NCCT, AMCA, NAHP, NCMA, AMT, etc.)
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of recent outpatient Medical Assistant experience
- Experience in physician office, ambulatory care, urgent care, or outpatient clinic
- Current BLS Certification
- Comfortable rooming patients and taking vitals
- Experience with injections and venipuncture/phlebotomy
- Strong patient interaction and EMR documentation skills
Nice to Haves
- Infectious disease or specialty clinic experience
- Epic experience
- Prior triage experience
- EKG experience
- Procedure assistance/specimen collection
- Bilingual
Day-to-Day
- Room patients and obtain vitals
- Collect patient histories and document in EMR
- Assist providers with exams and procedures
- Administer injections and perform venipuncture
- Coordinate prescription refills
- Answer patient calls and assist with basic triage
- Obtain medical records and diagnostic reports
- Stock exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
- Follow infection control and OSHA guidelines
