Medical Support Specialist Bilingual

Job Description Position: Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse). Reports to the Plasma Center Manager and works under the guidance of the Center Manager and the Center Physician. Role involves determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and notifying donors of unsuitable results. Familiarity with plasma collection regulations and providing center level support for environmental, health and safety (EHS) is required. How you will contribute Determine donor eligibility: proper management of informed consent, AIDS education, confidential self‑exclusion, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing serological protein electrophoresis (SPE). Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including developing center physician standing orders and coordinating donor transport to emergency care. Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or guidance on medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility. Support hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and evaluate further evaluation required by occupational health or ER; refer to EHS guidance. Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations of pandemic threats within the local community. What you bring to Takeda High school diploma or equivalent, or graduate level recognized nursing program with state requirements. Currently licensed or certified in the state of assignment: Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). Current CPR and AED certification. Fulfillment of state IV therapy requirements. Completion of FDA‑approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Two years in a clinical or hospital setting. Location & Compensation Location: USA - AZ - Mesa. Hourly wage range: $35.20 - $48.40. Actual salary may vary based on experience, qualifications, and location.
