TheAssistantControllerleadsthefull-cycleAccountsPayableprocessandsupervisesAPstaff,ensuringvendorandsubcontractorpaymentsareaccurate,timely,andproperlysupported.Thisrolealsosupportsgeneralledgeraccountingandfinancialreportingthroughjournalentries,accountreconciliations,accountanalysis,andclosingactivities. WorkingcloselywithProjectManagersandOperationspersonnel,theAssistantControllersupportsaccuratejobcostreporting,WIPschedules,projectaccounting,andinsuranceandcomplianceactivities.ThispositionalsohelpsstrengtheninternalcontrolsandimproveaccountingprocessesandofferstheopportunitytogrowintobroaderfinancialleadershipresponsibilitieswithinReArch. Thisisanin-personrolebasedatourSouthBurlington,VToffice,withoccasionaltraveltoprojectsites,otherReArchoffices,andcompanymeetingsorevents.Theanticipatedstartingpayforthispositionis$92,500–$105,000/year,dependingonexperience. Qualifications TheidealcandidatewillhaveaBachelor’sdegreeinAccounting,Finance,orequivalentexperienceandatleast5yearsofprogressiveaccountingexperience,preferablywithintheconstructionindustry.CandidatesshouldhaveexperiencemanagingAccountsPayableprocessesandstaff,alongwithastrongunderstandingofgeneralledgeraccounting,financialreporting,andmonthlycloseprocesses. CandidatesshoulddemonstrateknowledgeofGAAPandinternalcontrols,advancedMicrosoftExcelskills,andproficiencywithaccountingandERPsystems.ExperiencewithSage300CRE,SageIntacct,orotherjob-costingsoftwareandfamiliaritywithconstructionaccountingpracticesarepreferred. Thesuccessfulcandidatewillbedetail-orientedandanalytical,withstrongproblem-solving,leadership,andcommunicationskillsandtheabilitytomeetdeadlinesinafast-pacedenvironment.
