Apartment Maintenance Technician

Overview YEAR-ROUND STABLE 40 HOUR WORK in Fairborn Ohio at Arlington Village Apartments. POSITION: Apartment (Multifamily) Maintenance Technician SCHEDULE: 8:30-5:30 PM Monday through Friday; On-call once every 3 weeks (additional pay: $100 bonus for weeks on-call and minimum of 1.5 hours paid for call outs) LOCATION: Arlington Village Apartments, 1733 Arlin Place Additional information available at and Monarch Investment and Management Group is a multifamily housing company with a long track record and opportunities for career growth. Responsibilities Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority Turn and make units ready between tenant occupancy Complete repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned Exterior structural maintenance as needed Assist in property grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in the maintenance field (preferred) 1+ months experience in apartment maintenance Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry Plumbing and electrical experience EPA HVAC Certification a plus CPO Certification a plus Working knowledge of appliances including washers and dryers Ability to physically perform basic job duties (to be demonstrated during interview) Benefits and Compensation Competitive pay On-Call bonus of $100 and minimum 1.5 hours paid time Quarterly bonuses up to $750; potential up to $3,000 per year Tuition reimbursement program Power tool and tool reimbursement: $250 after 6 months and $500 every year after that Paid Time Off: 80 hours in first year, increasing with tenure to 150 hours after 5 years Holiday Paid Time Off Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (as low as $45/month) Life and Disability Insurance Housing Discounts: 20% after 30 days at any Monarch community Longevity benefits: every 5th year, choose between a 3-week PTO sabbatical or a 2-week bonus check and a free apartment after 10 years A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
