In this strategic role, you will oversee initiatives that enhance the performance, reliability, and long-term sustainability of electric distribution systems. From infrastructure upgrades and system expansions to resiliency and storm-hardening efforts, you will guide projects that help utilities optimize critical assets, improve service delivery, and support the evolving needs of the communities they serve.What You'll Do:Manage all aspects of electric distribution project delivery, including scope, budget, schedule, and client relationships, while thoroughly understanding project risks and financial measuresServe as a “seller/doer,” developing work with specific clients and leading marketing plan development for target market areasLead and mentor other Project Managers, setting vision and strategy, and supporting professional growth across the teamPrepare proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documentsTrack and oversee multiple projects, ensuring quality control and compliance with company standardsPlay a key role in client contract interpretation and relationship management, ensuring all client needs are metWhat You Bring:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field required; Master’s degree preferredMinimum of 10 years of progressive engineering experience, including 8 years of project management experience requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredExpert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply best practicesAdvanced proficiency with engineering, project planning, and scheduling software with knowledge of Microsoft OfficeStrong understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering lawsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, and Deltek Vision preferredProven ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and oversee project accounting processesExperience preparing proposals and project documentation as well as interpreting client contractsParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferredAbility to travel as neededWhy You'll Love It Here:Lead infrastructure programs that enhance reliability, strengthen resiliency, and improve utility service for customers and communitiesCollaborate with experienced utility and engineering professionals to solve complex challenges and deliver meaningful resultsCurious about the impactful work our Electric Distribution team is doing?
