As a Mechanical Engineering Professional, part of our Cities and Places team, you will be an integral member of the design team. You will have the opportunity to perform building mechanical analysis and design for a wide range of projects locally, nationally, and around the world, producing technical reports, construction drawings and technical specifications. Specific Mechanical design efforts will entail design for manufacturing, education and healthcare facilities, data centers, planning studies, water and wastewater treatment facilities. Additionally, your expertise will be leveraged to help support pipe sizing calculations, pump selection, piping systems, chemical systems, HVAC Design, and hydraulic studies.Our projects bring innovative solutions to our clients' worldwide. You will have the opportunity to grow professionally through challenging projects and working closely with our multi-discipline design teams, Senior Project Managers, and our clients. If you are up for the challenge, we have been looking for someone just like you.Here's what you'll need:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.Minimum of 2 years relevant professional experience for infrastructure and building-related design projects.Ability to perform as a lead mechanical engineer.Experience working in a multi-discipline team with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Construction support services experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Experience with US building codes: IMC, UMC, ASHRAE 90.1/62.1/62.2, IPC, IBC.Ideally, you'll also have:Professional Engineering registration (P.E.) or ability to obtain.Experience using building BIM drafting software (AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit).Practical, hands-on experience and/or construction support.Project Management Experience.Experience with alternate delivery (Design-Build, CMAR/CM-GC and/or EPC projects).Experience in developing project level of efforts for building mechanical design.Posted Salary Range: Minimum $74,700.00.
