General Manager

The Company is the premier distributor of plastic sheet, rod, tube, film, and associated products serving aerospace, defense, medical, and advanced industrial markets. Role Purpose The General Manager of the Los Angeles operation will lead our $15M plant, high-mix manufacturing business. This executive is accountable for profitability, key customer relationships, scalability, quality systems, and supplier performance. This role will design, implement, and continuously improve the enterprise manufacturing systems - spanning production planning, job costing, quality, capacity, and supplier integration - that enable the company to operate a scalable, high-performance manufacturing platform. The successful candidate will be a visible leader on the production floor, committed to operational excellence, customer success, and developing people while driving sustainable business Scope of Responsibility Seeking a hands‑on General Manager with a strong manufacturing background and a proven track record of driving operational excellence. Extensive experience leading manufacturing operations with a hands‑on leadership style. Strong expertise in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, quality, safety, and productivity. Exceptional customer relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust, manage key accounts, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Demonstrated success in developing, coaching, and mentoring teams while building a high-performance culture. Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to lead cross‑functional teams. Experience managing P&L, budgets, and operational performance metrics. A results-oriented mindset with the ability to balance strategic planning and day‑to‑day execution.
