Assembler - 3rd Shift (Transformers)

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking an Assembler – 3rd Shift (Transformers). Hourly rate is $24.45 plus a $2.50 shift differential per hour. Shift hours: 11:00pm – 7:00am. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Associates must be employed at the time of the payout. What You’ll Do Produce all types of 3‑phase transformers in a continuous flow environment to meet agreed customer service requirements. Perform job functions at an acceptable level of efficiency and quality. Read and interpret shop specifications, shop drawings, process sheets, and measuring equipment. Follow standard work and visual operating procedures to complete tasks. Build sub‑assemblies per OPS and quality standards required for final assembly, using calibrated tooling. Build and fulfill requirements needed; work closely with engineering, quality, and shipping departments to ensure product is completed and shipped on time. Conduct ratio testing on the unit and troubleshoot potential problems to complete ratio test. Move units using overhead cranes and power industrial vehicles. Assist other team members as needed to meet production through the continuous flow line. Qualifications Minimum of 6months of experience or education in assembly, manufacturing, or the military. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future. Only candidates within a 50‑mile radius of Waukesha, WI are considered (Active‑Duty Military Service members exempt). Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution. Skills Ability to work overtime when required. Ability to lift up to 50lbs; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
