Job Title: HR Coordination

Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Glendale specializes in the manufacturing of precision magnesium and aluminum sand castings. We are seeking an energetic, detailed oriented Human Resource Coordination to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our Human Resource Department, delivering critical administrative support, driving onboarding success, and maintaining efficient daily operations.


Essential Responsibilities

• Own the accuracy, compliance, and absolute confidentiality of all personnel files, digital records, and HR documentation. Conduct routine file audits to ensure seamless records-keeping.
• Input new hires into the HR system and benefits system, verify employment via E-Verify, and manage hourly vacation tracking alongside production supervisors.
• Assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing errors and distributing checks to Supervisors.
• Serve as the go-to resource for applicants and team members regarding standard policies, benefits and hiring process, escalating complex issues to the HR Manager.
• Review applicants, coordinate interview schedules, and actively participate in interviewing hourly production candidates alongside Supervisors.
• Lead engaging new hire orientation to welcome incoming team members. Help plan and execute key employee events, including annual open enrollment, recognition initiatives and onsite health screenings.

Position Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Spanish required
• Proven proficiency with, or a strong capacity to quickly master ADP payroll and HRIS system. Advances skills in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential data with total discretion, tact, and professionalism.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational habits, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently without losing accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills to interact comfortably with both plant floor production staff and upper management.
