Staff Project Manager

BCubed Engineering, an Auria company, is looking to hire a Staff Project Manager. This position is on-site in Warrenton, VA.


As a Staff Project Manager at BCubed, you will be a driving force behind our contract execution, resource coordination, and risk management. At the Staff level, you are an Effective Project Leader operating with a moderate-to-high organizational impact. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex contract efforts on time and within budget, while establishing lasting, trusting relationships with our customers and community partners. This role requires advanced domain experience, exceptional stakeholder management, and a strategic mindset to look across adjacent efforts for synergies and on-contract growth.


WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:

• Project Execution: Apply project management best practices, industry-standard methodologies, and software tools to handle the planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and tracking of complex, large-scale project.
• Effective Project Leadership: Lead the execution of projects and initiatives. Ensure that all project deliverables meet or exceed stakeholder expectations and BCubed Engineering standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as a dedicated focal point for customer inquiries.
• Efficiently communicate and coordinate with external partners (sub-contractors, vendors, prime contractors) and customers.
• Maintain a high level of responsiveness to customer needs, even outside of core working hours.
• Technical & Business Translation: Seamlessly bridge the gap between technology and business.
• Proficiently discuss technical concepts, digest technical documentation, and clearly explain complex engineering details in a manner that non-technical stakeholders can understand and internalize.
• Strategic Growth & Innovation: Identify, propose, and implement innovative solutions to address customer needs.
• Gauge success not just on meeting baseline contract obligations within scope, schedule, and cost, but also on your ability to actively grow the business and align project outcomes with BCubed's long-term vision. Mentorship:
• Serve as a respected mentor and trusted resource within the organization to help develop talent.

WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:

• Education & Experience: A degree in management, finance, engineering, or a business discipline from an accredited university, or equivalent knowledge demonstrated through experience.
• Advanced/Experienced Domain Knowledge: Highly skilled with advanced experience in project management, showcasing the capability to independently steer complex, mid-to-large-size contract efforts.
• Autonomy & Accountability: Fully autonomous in managing workloads and carrying out a team's plans, while remaining highly accountable to the larger organization for project decisions.
• Transparently communicates schedule impacts and roadblocks.
• Trust & Integrity: Consistently demonstrates trustworthiness and the highest integrity. A dedication to doing the right thing, even when it is difficult or unpopular, and holding oneself accountable for actions and shortcomings.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Active SECRET Clearance - required

WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:

• While not strictly required, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly encouraged.

PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $130,000 - $170,000
