Experienced Project Management Specialist

Experienced Project Management Specialist Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks an experienced Project Management Specialist for the VC-25B Presidential Aircraft Recapitalization Program in San Antonio, TX. The role involves providing project leadership to a multidisciplinary team driving proposal development, strategy, and transition to execution. Position Responsibilities Lead development of the program architecture and top-level plans. Develop program organizational structures and execution plans. Identify key integration interfaces between major activities, suppliers, partners, and customers. Facilitate resolution of program issues and support the Program Manager in leading program execution. Coordinate program metrics, schedules, and ensure compliance with Program Management Best Practices and acquisition processes. Implement customer and program communication plans. Lead proposal development and acquisition strategy across functions and business units. Build proposal plans, coordinate stakeholder inputs, and lead requirements analysis. Develop and integrate bills of material, responsibility assignment matrix, master assumptions list, SOW, execution schedule, and proposal schedule. Track on‑time delivery metrics for VC‑25B proposal submittal. Ensure high‑quality product and service delivery aligned with objectives. Develop innovative solutions for complex problems. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Departments such as Contracts, Estimating & Pricing, Engineering, Finance, Quality, Intellectual Property, and Supplier Management. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience in government acquisition and proposal development. 3+ years of Program or Project Management Best Practices experience. Experience leading teams. Strong presentation skills to senior leaders. Excellent cross‑functional communication and coordination skills. 5+ years supporting Department of War, U.S. Air Force, or equivalent proposals. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree with related work experience. Adaptability in fast‑paced environments with competing priorities. Problem‑solving and critical thinking skills. Experience working with or for the U.S. military. Experience with Project Management tools. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent. Experience with Military Commercial Derivative aircraft (MCDA). Benefits Competitive base pay: $146,200 - $197,800. Relocation assistance offered to eligible candidates. Up to 10% travel may be required. Requirements Must obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
