Project Accountant/Job Cost Analyst -AIA

Job Title

AIA Billing experience a must. Construction industry experience preferred. Performs project set up review, change order budget review and approval, and overall maintenance of a project. Maintains project files. Prepares and enters project related journal entries. Prepares and submits monthly project billings to include both lump sum and time and material projects. Gathers supporting documentation for cost plus and time and material project billings. Monitors and confirms receipt and submission of required lien waivers for projects. Prepares and submits all required reports for assigned projects – CIP reports, lien waivers, project audits, etc. Performs other duties as required.

Minimum education preferred of the position

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.

Minimum experience preferred of the position

1-3 years

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities preferred of the position

Experience as a Cost Accountant or similar role. ADVANCED EXCEL Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures. Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail. Strong time management skills. Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information. ADOBE, Dynamics360, and Teams
