RN - Outpatient Clinic

Registered NurseThis position offers 8-hour shifts from 0615 to 1445, Monday through Friday. There are no weekends, holidays, or call duties required.Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse will assess and respond to the individual physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients while actively advocating for them. The nurse will utilize professional skills and judgment to provide nursing care, ensuring the coordination of patient care through effective communication.ResponsibilitiesAssess and address the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients.Implement nursing care based on professional skills and judgment.Communicate patient assessments to ensure coordinated care.Demonstrate knowledge in diagnostic measures, including labs and radiology.Transcribe and implement physician orders accurately during patient admissions.Document patient records accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with surgical procedures.Provide education and instruction to patients and their families.Manage supplies in accordance with policies to control costs without compromising care.Assist with housekeeping duties as necessary.Utilize critical thinking in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to provide appropriate nursing care.Maintain communication as a float nurse and assist staff as needed.Work in pain management and eye laser procedure rooms as assigned.Familiarize with anesthesia supplies and assist during emergencies.Participate in committee meetings and contribute to improvements.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureCurrent RN license.Experience in nursing with a focus on patient advocacy and care coordination.Demonstrated ability in IV therapy and knowledge of diagnostic measures.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
