Civil Project Manager

Civil Project Manager – Trenton, NJ

We're partnering with a well-established engineering consulting firm seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead land development and site civil engineering projects in the Trenton, NJ area. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer who enjoys managing projects, building client relationships, and helping grow a successful practice.

Responsibilities:

Manage civil engineering projects from planning through construction.
Lead project teams and oversee design, permitting, and production efforts.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and stakeholders.
Prepare project schedules, budgets, and proposals.
Mentor junior engineers and support staff.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Identify new business opportunities and support business development efforts.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships to help expand the firm's presence.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
10+ years of civil engineering and project management experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Proven experience managing land development or site civil projects.
Strong business development and client relationship management experience.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience with project budgeting, scheduling, and proposal development.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering design software is preferred.
