A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Investments Operations Specialist / FX Cash Management Analyst.

Position type: Full-time, Contract (W2)
Duration: 6 months Contract to hire.
Location: Charlotte, NC – 3 days onsite/ 2 day remote

Overview: Client is seeking an Investments Operations Specialist / FX Cash Management Analyst to support daily funding, cash management, reconciliation, and operational activities within a financial services environment. This role will focus on monitoring account balances, managing funding activities, reviewing financial data, resolving discrepancies, and supporting FX-related operational processes.

As an Investments Operations Specialist / FX Cash Management Analyst, you will:

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor funding activities and cash movements across accounts and currencies.
• Review account balances, cash positions, and funding projections to identify upcoming requirements.
• Initiate and coordinate funding transactions within established operational procedures.
• Monitor transactions and investigate discrepancies, exceptions, and breaks.
• Perform reconciliations and work with relevant teams to research and resolve outstanding items.
• Prepare and maintain daily reports, balance information, funding data, and operational metrics.
• Support FX-related operational activities and assist with transaction lifecycle processes.
• Research operational issues and coordinate with internal teams to determine appropriate resolutions.
• Work closely with teams supporting trading, investigations, relationship management, static data, technology, and reconciliation.
• Review existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and controls.
• Participate in operational projects, including requirements gathering, process documentation, testing, and implementation activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of processes, procedures, and operational activities.
• Manage multiple workstreams while meeting time-sensitive operational deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Background in financial services operations, investment operations, cash management, funding, or financial analysis.
• Experience working with funding activities, cash projections, account balances, or financial data.
• Understanding of reconciliation, discrepancy resolution, and exception management.
• Exposure to foreign exchange (FX), banking operations, payments, wires, or trade-related processes is preferred.
• Ability to monitor financial information, identify variances, and research discrepancies through resolution.
• Comfortable working with multiple teams and coordinating information across different business functions.
• Ability to review processes, identify operational gaps, and contribute to process improvements.
• Comfortable learning new systems, processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $45- $50 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
