Responsibilities

You will be responsible for SEO strategies for demanding clients, but not in the traditional way. At Sumax, senior SEO means thinking in systems, not checklists. You will use AI not as a gimmick but as a core tool in your daily work. You will develop strategies that combine human expertise and machine intelligence.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of experience in SEO (agency or in-house)
• Deep understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, and off-page
• Proven experience or strong affinity in using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini - any, as long as you actively and critically use them)
• You have built or optimized your own workflows with AI, or you are eager to learn
• Experience with SEO tools like Sistrix, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Independent, structured working style
• Very good German and good English
