HR Generalist | Lewisburg, TN | Full-Time, On-Site

Our client, a manufacturing company in Lewisburg, TN, is looking for an HR Generalist to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has built a foundation in Human Resources and is ready to take the next step into a broader Generalist role. You’ll be involved in the day-to-day HR function and gain hands-on experience across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, payroll support, and general HR operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offers, and pre-employment activities.
\n
• Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding.
\n
• Serve as a day-to-day HR resource for employees and assist with questions related to policies, benefits, payroll, and workplace expectations.
\n
• Support supervisors and leadership with employee relations, attendance, performance, and other day-to-day employee matters.
\n
• Assist with employee documentation, disciplinary processes, and offboarding.
\n
• Support benefits administration and employee enrollment changes.
\n
• Assist with timekeeping, employee changes, payroll questions, and other day-to-day payroll needs.
\n
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
\n
• Assist with leave, workers’ compensation, compliance, and other HR projects as needed.
\n

What We’re Looking For:

\n
• 1–3 years of HR experience preferred. Candidates with HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, HR Specialist, internship, or similar experience who are ready to take the next step are encouraged to apply.
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
\n
• Exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, payroll/timekeeping, or other general HR functions.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities.
\n
• Comfortable learning, asking questions, and seeking guidance when needed.
\n
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
\n
• Manufacturing or similar industry experience is a plus, but not required.
\n
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, or applicant tracking systems is a plus.
\n
