Customs Specialist
Minth North America, Inc.
Our Logistics team is expanding and looking to add a Customs Specialist. We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate who is interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector.
Responsibilities:
- To coordinate and support daily U.S. import and export operations and ensure timely customs clearance.
- Review import/export documents, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, BOL, ISF, and customs entry documents.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve shipment and customs issues.
- Support HTS classification, duty/tariff review, country of origin, and USMCA qualification.
- Assist with customs compliance activities, including Section 232/301, Customs Bond, ACE, and other CBP requirements.
- Support U.S. export documentation and AES/EEI filings.
- Maintain import/export records and support customs compliance and process improvement.
- 1-3 years of experience in U.S. import/export, customs, or international logistics preferred
- Familiar with U.S. Customs procedures, HTS classification, Incoterms, and import/export documentation.
- Experience working with customs brokers and freight forwarders.
- Automotive or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
