Jr. Data Analyst And Data Steward
This position functions as a Jr. Data Analyst and Data Steward within Clinical Operations. The primary focus is ensuring the maximum quality, completeness, integrity, and consistency of data across clinical trial systems. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between data governance frameworks and day-to-day clinical trial operations, handling business administration, data lifecycle management, and cross-functional support requests.
Responsibilities include ensuring the quality, completeness, and integrity of data within systems used across clinical operations and other functions. Adhere to enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, and standards. Execute procedures and reports to evaluate the completeness, accuracy, and consistency of data in Clinical Operations systems. Analyze data and perform mitigating actions to maintain high data standards. Perform business administration and data entry into systems. Respond to data administration support requests from Clinical Trial Team members. Proactively coordinate with Clinical Trial Team members to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Report project status and operational activity metrics. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in life sciences, information systems, or a related field (advanced degree preferred). Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical operations, technical operations, or clinical systems management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. At least 2 years of experience with Veeva Clinical Vault. Proficient in data management practices, including data lifecycle management, data quality management, and data governance. Knowledgeable in database structures and principles. Experience with data analysis and statistical tools and methods. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, and Microsoft Project.
