Business Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract with a client in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and translating DevSecOps requirements, defining workflows, and improving tooling ecosystems to support secure software delivery.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Business Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

• Gather and document business and technical requirements for DevSecOps initiatives, collaborating with engineering, platform, and InfoSec teams.
• Translate business needs and security requirements into clear functional specifications and workflows.
• Analyze existing tools and processes to identify gaps, redundancies, and improvement opportunities.
• Support development of governance frameworks, including access controls and compliance requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and validation sessions to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Create documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows to support project execution.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in business analysis with strong exposure to DevSecOps and platform environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) with ability to translate technical requirements.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management, documentation (BRDs/FRDs), and driving governance, compliance, and tooling improvements across cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
