CC&B Functional Tester

Role Overview:

The role involves comprehensive functional testing for CC&B (Customer Care and Billing) systems, focusing on designing and executing test cases, scenarios, and scripts. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in CC&B and a solid understanding of the utilities domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute functional and non-functional test cases and scenarios for CC&B.
Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Validate billing calculations, batch jobs, and transactions using SQL to ensure data accuracy across systems.
Log, track, and coordinate defect resolution with development teams.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in CC&B functional testing.
Proficiency in designing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on functional requirements.
Experience in SIT and UAT testing.
Proficiency in data validation using SQL.
Ability to validate batch jobs, billing outputs, and CC&B transactions.
Good understanding of key CC&B areas including Billing & Payments, Metering & Usage, Collections, Rate configuration, Service agreements, and Customer lifecycle processes.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Exposure to test management tools.
Understanding of utility business processes, including Meter-to-Cash lifecycle and Billing and collections operations.
