Specialty/ Senior Specialty Representative - Primary Care - Louisville, KY

Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative for the Louisville, KY primary care territory to deliver clinical product knowledge to medical professionals, manage customer relationships, and drive sales execution. The role combines account development with strategic support for complex payer environments.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clinical benefits of Amgen products to medical professionals and drive appropriate product utilization
• Execute sales strategy through branded messaging, educational programs, and in-person/virtual engagement to meet territory targets
• Develop and manage customer relationships, customize interactions based on needs, and resolve reimbursement access issues
• Analyze sales activity effectiveness, provide marketing feedback, and develop territory plans with District Manager
• Share best practices with colleagues and maintain commitment to patient-focused brand advocacy throughout sales cycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's with 4+ years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6+ years sales experience
• For Senior level: Bachelor's with 3+ years sales/clinical healthcare experience, or equivalent with Associate's/high school diploma
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or related industries preferred
• Product sales experience in specialty areas such as oncology, cardiology, or inflammation preferred
• Advanced relationship-building and influencing skills with focus on sales outcomes
• Life Sciences or Business Administration degree preferred

Compensation: $89,880-$121,602 base annual salary
