Responsibilities Provide skilled maintenance support to proactively identify and prevent failure points in operational equipment by interpreting operator feedback, understanding machine status indications and functions, and recommending actions. Contribute to improving our maintenance management system through Root Cause Analysis and error resolution with a preventive approach. Collaborate with electrical, process, and reliability colleagues to prioritize tasks and investments for operational needs. Support and maintain equipment according to ISO/TS quality standards, providing feedback to prevent deviations in critical processes. Maintain, repair, and upgrade process equipment including blowers, compressors, extruders, heaters, dehumidifiers, web conveying, winding, and slitting. Support plant utilities such as steam, compressed air, chilled water, and cooling systems. Assist in the design, installation, startup, shutdown, and maintenance of new or modified equipment following safety standards. Supervise and assist contract personnel to ensure safe and quality work. Maintain high standards for workmanship and housekeeping, contributing to cleanliness and 5S adherence. Participate in rotating on-call duties, providing maintenance expertise and support. Train other maintenance personnel to improve equipment reliability and safety. Qualifications Two-year technical degree in Industrial Systems or related field; certifications in PLCs, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics are beneficial. 0-5 years of industrial maintenance experience; experience with extrusion, plastics, web handling, or winding is a plus. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems is preferred. Understanding of rotating equipment failure modes and maintenance techniques. Training in pipefitting, sheet metal fabrication, and welding is preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively. Ability to work overtime and support 24/7 operations, including on-call rotation. Ability to obtain certifications for Powered Industrial Trucks and Aerial Lift Equipment on site.
