About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Room License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and de-escalation certification required Must-Have: - Experience in a large, urban, fast-paced Emergency Department with significant volume - Experience with ventilated patients required - Preferred experience in Level 1 trauma - Experience with EPIC charting system required - Every other weekend coverage required (4 weekend shifts per contract) - Support for Patient Care Technicians and Medics Description: This position offers flexibility with potential 3x12-hour shifts as an option. The role requires caring for ventilated patients and experience in high-volume emergency care. Candidates must have a background in significant urban emergency settings. The nurse will participate in a patient ratio of 1:5 and manage a daily census of 210 visits. Travel experience is required. Blocked scheduling is not accommodated. Supervisory reference is required for application consideration. Only individuals with one DUI on record, occurring more than one year ago, will be considered. Work history related to previous facilities must be submitted for review.
