Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ER Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ER experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, de-escalation certification required Must-Have: - Experience in large, urban, fast-paced emergency department with significant volume - Experience caring for ventilated patients - Experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred - EPIC experience required - Every other weekend coverage with 4 weekend shifts per contract Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room. This position offers the option for 3x12-hour shifts if preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ER experience in a high-volume setting. Experience with ventilated patients is essential. The role includes supporting patient care technicians and medics. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5. The department sees approximately 210 visits per day. Every other weekend coverage is required, with a total of 4 weekends during the contract. Travel experience is required, and candidates who are first-time travelers will not be considered. Ideal candidates will have experience in a Level 1 trauma center and be proficient in the EPIC charting system. Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated for this position.
