Job Description As a Security Officer Driver Screening Specialist in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel and/or packages, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide outstanding customer service while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and committed to acting with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location. Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor or delivery activity as required. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
