Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced litigation attorney in Mesa, AZ. The ideal candidate will have over three years of civil litigation experience, particularly in business disputes, contract matters, and real estate litigation. This role offers the opportunity to manage cases, appear in court, and work directly with clients while collaborating with partners. Duties Represent clients in commercial and civil litigation matters. Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and transactional documents. Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and mediations. Negotiate resolutions and settlements for clients. Advise clients on legal risks and strategic options. Assist with appellate matters as needed. Manage an active caseload independently. Maintain organized case files and accurate documentation. Communicate effectively with clients and legal personnel. Requirements Licensed to practice law in Arizona and in good standing. Minimum of three years of civil litigation experience. Experience in business disputes, contract litigation, and real estate matters preferred. Demonstrated experience drafting legal documents. Courtroom, deposition, and mediation experience preferred. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Arizona. Skills Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and sound judgment. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
