• Shift: Day shift, 3x12s (8:00 AM - 8:30 PM); possible 4x10s (10:00 AM - 8:30 PM)
• Hours/week: 36-40 hours
• Employment Type: Contract (W-2)
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of PACU experience; pre/post-op care; Epic experience required; prior charge experience preferred
• Patient Ratio: 1:1

What You'll Do:

• Provide high-quality preoperative and postoperative cardiac patient care in PACU.
• Monitor patient vital signs and recovery status, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient transitions and care plans.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and infection control standards.

What You Need:

• Valid Ohio RN license.
• BLS certification (must be current).
• Minimum 2 years of PACU or similar perioperative experience.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings.
• Preferred: experience with level 1 trauma, outpatient surgeries, or charge nurse responsibilities.
