Principal Software Engineer This role leads and mentors a team of engineers, shaping technology strategy, and building full‑stack cloud solutions using AWS and generative AI technologies. Roles & Responsibilities Develop rapid prototypes and translate concepts into working code. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team. Take ownership of complex software projects from conception to deployment. Manage software delivery scope, risk, and timeline. Contribute to front‑end and back‑end development using cloud technology. Define and implement robust cloud architectures (AWS preferred). Lead and motivate a team of engineers to deliver high‑quality results. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Create and maintain documentation on software architecture, design, deployment, disaster recovery, and operations. Identify and resolve technical challenges effectively. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements. Collaborate with product team, business team, and stakeholders. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience Master’s degree and 4 years of experience Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience Associate’s degree and 10 years of experience High school diploma/GED and 12 years of experience Hands‑on experience with cloud services and well‑architected design principles Full‑stack software development experience Proficiency in Python (preferred), JavaScript, SQL/NoSQL Proven ability to lead and mentor teams Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills Preferred Qualifications API integration, serverless, microservices architecture Experience with SQL/NoSQL and vector databases for large language models Experience with large language models, LangChain or llamaIndex, prompt engineering, model fine‑tuning Website development and localization processes DevOps/MLOps CI/CD pipelines Design patterns, data structures, test‑driven development NLP techniques for text analysis and sentiment analysis Preferred Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering; Master’s with 6+ years experience or 8+ years experience Cloud computing certificate Benefits Comprehensive employee benefits package, including retirement and savings plan with company contributions Group medical, dental, and vision coverage; life and disability insurance; flexible spending accounts Discretionary annual bonus program Stock‑based long‑term incentives Award‑winning time‑off plans Flexible work models where possible Expected annual salary range (U.S.): USD 157,020.50 – 212,439.50 We are an Equal Opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
